Re: Coldplay
Says the man that named himself to sound like he's IRIDESCENT...synonyms: shimmering, shimmery, glittering, sparkling, coruscating, dazzling, shining, gleaming, glowing, lustrous, scintillating

Correct about the sandals but nothing else as usual Eerie. Jeans, sandals when hot, BMW 530, Yamaha MT10 and Led Zeppelin more like...

I don't think there's any danger of a single person on the planet considering you a 'cool dude'

You give off more the impression of mustard corduroy's, sandals, Volvo estate and Norah Jones.

Re: Coldplay
Always thought they seem like decent blokes and they were excellent in Extras.

Music not for me though.

Willtell 10:56 Wed Mar 28
Re: Coldplay
I didn't know Coldplay had a song called 'Yellow'! I Googled it and it is one that gets played a lot but I never knew the title.

I rarely eat mayonnaise but I thought it was cream coloured rather than yellow.

I guess I'm not a wannabe 'cool dude' that wants to impress people over the internet with their virtue signalling 'coolness'.

Re: Coldplay
Men tend to take music far too seriously. It's as if they feel their whole identity or character or something is bound up in their musical tastes. They're often like it with comedy, too. It's a bit silly, really.

Re: Coldplay
Is that song of theirs "Yellow" about mayo then?

White Pony 10:43 Wed Mar 28
Re: Coldplay
As with mayonnaise, I am also massively indifferent to Coldplay. I don't get why so many people think they need to be so vocal about their dislike for them though. Lots of people do like them, fair enough crack on.

Never understand comments like this.

Yep, I'm going to pretend I think their music is crap and not for me, as it makes me look really cool, when in reality I LOVE IT.

Re: Coldplay
Very similar to Oasis, in that after their first two quality albums, they progressively faded

They are an excellent cure for insomniacs

Re: Coldplay
i had truly never heard of them when i was flicking through the tunes on a flight back from the USA back in the day- ten bars into "yellow" i was ready to shank the pilot .

fucking awful band. end

Re: Coldplay
I know somebody working on the viva la Vida loco album of whatever it’s called and I got to hear the early recordings for it. They are a pretty good rock band. It’s a shame they have to be produced to fit the middle aged mum buying cds in ASDA market but I guess they know where their money comes from

geoffpikey 6:37 Wed Mar 28
Re: Coldplay
You'll all be delighted to learn Coldplay have just finished recording a new album. Simon Mayo will have first exclusive play.

* First bit true.
